Activaero is privately held and has facilities in Munich (R&D) and Gemünden/Wohra (Headquarters & Logistics). Activaero started as Inamed GmbH in 1998 as the first spin-off from the GSF (Research Center for Environment and Health). The company foundation was based on more than 20 years of aerosol experience. Activaero is developing, manufacturing and selling high quality inhalation systems for the treatment of severe lung diseases. As a center of excellence in aerosol medicine, we support pharma and biotech partners with consultation, technology and services in their pre-clinical and clinical projects for pulmonary drug development.
