Alliance Medical Products (AMP) spun off from Bausch & Lomb in January 2002, and is wholly owned by two former Bausch & Lomb executives. AMP has outsource manufacturing of pharmaceuticals and medical devices and for outsource Microbiology and Chemistry laboratory testing. AMP has a 52,000 square foot facility with over 15,000 square feet of Class 10000 Clean Rooms and multiple Class 100 Aseptic Fill Suites with Class 1000 and Class 10000 staging areas. Its core competencies include commercial aseptic filling (sterile filtered or terminally sterilized), solid dosage formulation and manufacturing, Phase I-III Clinical manufacturing, Class I-III medical device process development and manufacturing and medical device assembly and packaging. AMP's niche is middle volume products, which allows AMP to provide highly flexible solutions to meet our customers' requirements and project timelines. The company has extensive capabilities in the Chemistry and Microbiology laboratories that comprise the Integrated Laboratory Services (ILS) division of AMP. The ILS Chemistry laboratory has HPLC, GC Chromatography, UV-Vis, IR and TOC Spectroscopy capabilities as well as full wet Chemistry capabilities. Other areas of testing expertise include viscosity, osmolality, and water content/moisture analysis.
