Founded in 1945, AmorePacific is publicly listed on the Korea Stock Exchange and has six subsidiaries. The Group's principal activity is manufacturing of perfumes and cosmetics based on indigenous Asian botanicals. The company is now a part of the Pacific Group with Pacific Corporation as a holding company. The company was split into AmorePacific and Pacific in 2006.
