Bio2 is a medical device company developing and commercializing novel tissue engineering scaffolds for orthopedic applications. Bio2’s core technology, called cross-linked microstructure or CLM™, allows Bio2 to engineer and control pore morphology along with the bulk mechanical properties of materials resulting in a high porosity (50-90%) load bearing structure. The Company is commercializing two distinct products: bio-inert and bio-active CLM™ scaffolds both of which use FDA approved materials.
