Coldstream Laboratories Inc. opened in 1986 as the Center for Pharmaceutical Science & Technology (CPST), a unit of the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. In February of 2007, the University decided to spin off the CPST into a private company. The Company's quality work represents a wide range of formulations, testing and production. The Company has the capability to handle the sterile manufacturing of cytotoxic and non-cytotoxic products concurrently as well as radio labeled compounds.
