Hybrigenics was founded in 1997 to develop and industrialize a high throughput platform to detect and identify protein interactions using the two-hybrid technology in yeast (Yeast Two-Hybrid, Y2H). Hybrigenics' own R&D projects are focused against cancer, with inecalcitol in clinical development for prostate cancer, and a discovery program targeting the subset of Ubiquitin-Specific Proteases (USP) which are linked to proliferation of cancer cells.
