Laboratoires Mayoly Spindler is a privately-owned French pharmaceutical company specialized in Gastroenterology. It was founded in 1929 by Mr. MAYOLY and his wife, Mrs SPINDLER, both pharmacists based in Paris. The company acquired in 1975 by Doctor Jean-Marie VERNIN, pharmacist too, has been previously managed by his son, Jean-Gilles VERNIN, also pharmacist, leading the company successfully for more than 25 years (from 1982 to 2008), and then, at his turn, by his own son, Jean-Nicolas VERNIN, also leading both LABORATOIRES NIGY (CHARLIEU and TOPICREM brands) and LABORATOIRES GALENIQUES VERNIN, settled in 1909 by his great great-grandfather, Louis-Charles VERNIN, with the launch of « SUCRETTES », his first commercialized product, an artificial sweetener, at the beginning of the last century. Based on an innovative technology platform developed at the LABORATOIRES GALÉNIQUES VERNIN (LGV), MAYOLY SPINDLER provides a recognized expertise for the contracted manufacturing of Health and Cosmetics specialties. MAYOLY SPINDLER offers a large variety of quality manufacturing services to fulfil the most demanding requirements of the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and cosmetic clients: Formulation, scaling up and production of Soft capsules; manufacturing of multiple oral galenic forms and suppositories; development and production of cosmetic forms such as lotion, body milk, cream and shampoo. In 1992, Laboratoires Mayoly Spindler acquires Laboratoires Galéniques Vernin, established in 1909 by Jean-Gilles Vernin’s great-grandfather. It thus joins forces with Laboratoires Mayoly Spindler as a production unit specialising in third-party manufacturing.
