Syncom BV is a contract research organization that specializes in organic synthesis on a scale of up to a kilogram. A particular expertise of Syncom, developed together with DSM, is “Dutch Resolution”, which is a highly effective modification of the original Pasteur technique for the resolution of racemates by formation of diastereomeric salts. Syncom has many other unique methodologies including much experience in chiral synthesis in general, vitamin D synthesis, heterocyclic synthesis and carbohydrate synthesis.
