Tosoh Corporation Included in the Sompo Sustainability Index

Tokyo, Japan—Tosoh Corporation has been included in the 2021 Sompo Sustainability Index, an active index managed by Sompo Asset Management Co., Ltd. Combining both share price and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria, Sompo Asset Management has structured the index for its socially responsible investment products targeting pension funds and institutional investors interested in long-term sustainable investing. It selects about 300 listed companies that rate highly based on ESG metrics for inclusion in the index each year.

Encouraged by this recognition, Tosoh Corporation will continue working to raise its value while helping build a more sustainable society through its ESG initiatives and management philosophy.
